CC Fix LV is a low viscosity version of CC Fix. Designed for hot cells and other high radiation/contamination areas to avoid worker exposure with entries in these areas of concern. Inaccessible internal surfaces of tanks, ventilation ducts, pipes, and equipment can be effectively stabilized by aerosolizing this low viscosity fixative. It is typically applied over CC Wet. CC Fix LV can be brushed, rolled, misted or spray applied. Spray application can best be accomplished with a hand pump using a metal canister spray unit with a fan tip. More than one coat is recommended to prevent re-suspension of contamination during work activities in treated areas.
