DeconPeel 5201 Halogen Free is a water-based peelable coating with zero halogens and zero VOCs. This product is used to immobilize radioactive contamination, minimize exposure and facilitate consequent decontamination.

The product can also be used to protect against contamination by coating the surface that will be subjected to contamination, using the item, and then spraying this coating again to sandwich the contaminants. The dried product is then removed by peeling. This product is also formulated to protect metals from oxidation.

The film cures to a white glossy hard and flexible water-resistant film. The coating encompasses contaminants into the film mass.
