Category: Robotics > Characterization and Inspection > Industrial Robot
Reference # : Model No :

Warthog is an amphibian unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). This large all-terrain vehicle is capable of traveling on land and in water. Has a rugged build, low ground pressure, and traction tires, which allow mobility through soft soils, vegetation, thick muds, and steep grades.

Payload mounting plates and accessible power and communication ports allow the Warthog to be customized with sensors, manipulators and other payloads to accommodate a wide variety of robotics applications environmental monitoring.

Benefits

Onboard PC comes with the open-source robot operating system (ROS) preinstalled and configured. Rich documentation, demos and tutorials are provided, along with a 3D simulation model for Gazebo.

Fully extensible. Can integrate third-party sensors and manipulators with flexible payload mounting, easy to access power and reconfigurable I/O (Ethernet, USB, WIFI, etc).

Powerful drivetrain is capable of moving 272 kg of payload and can reach speeds up to 18 km/hr on land. The optional trailer hitch provides for towing additional payloads and industry-standard implements.
