The AQUAscat 1000R is an acoustic suspended sediment profiler. Comes with 4 cabled transducers; transmits pulses of high frequency through the transducer to measure sound scattered by the sediment. It is deployable in fresh and seawater of depths up to 1000 meters. Commonly used for sediment transport studies and dredge plume monitoring.
