The Starfish 990F sidescan sonar system is a portable/tow-able sonar. It measures roughly 15" and can fit the smallest vessels and the shallowest water conditions. It utilizes compressed high intensity radar pulse (CHIRP) acoustic technology to detect closely space targets at great distances. It is designed to connect directly to a PC/Laptop via USB connection.The top-box allows the sonar to be powered from both AC or DC power supplies. The intuitive StarFish Scanline software, designed for Windows operating systems, has an easy-to-use interface.
