The canister lid shields provide gamma and neutron protection from shine that is emitted from the canister lid. Two available canister lid shields are T-Flex and Lead Wool. The size of the shields varies for any canister they are to be used on. The modular design specifies the removal of pieces only in the required areas. This will allow the maximization of dose reduction.
