In 2015, EKSORB developed and patented a device called Sorben-Tec for quick testing of drinking water or other liquids for cesium radionuclides at home.

Benefits

No need of sophisticated spectrometry equipment

Limitations

It does not provide exact values but helps to determine in a residential environment whether there is a dangerous concentration of cesium radionuclides in water.
