Newly developed technology that eliminates electrolyte loss and prevents moisture intrusion into lithium-ion battery cells by employing a special glass seal for the battery terminals, replacing the organic sealing material. GTAS (glass-to-aluminum seals) protects the battery cell from moisture intrusion and electrolyte evaporation through the pin seals. Applications for this product include any system where an increased battery lifespan is a requirement.
A simplified lid design. High-temperature resistance, ranging from –40°C to more than +125°C. Electrolyte-resistant glass sealing prevents humidity infiltration into the cell housing. Elimination of electrolyte leakage through the pin seals. Improved battery safety because of gas-tight cell housing.
