Tyvek® disposable garments provide a balance of protection, durability and the new comfort fit. The material provides barrier protection against dry particulate hazards and aerosols. Tyvek® garment material will resist water penetration up to 1.5 psi, and liquid penetration by blood at a similar level. Chemical splash protection may require bound or taped seam garments made from non-porous chemical fabrics. These garments could be used in several applications such as spray painting, lead abatement, environmental cleanup, asbestos abatement, mold remediation among others. Tyvek garments include coveralls, lab coats, shirts, pants, aprons, sleeves, hoods, bouffant, shoe covers, boot covers and a full coverage training suit.

Benefits

•Greater range of movement while stretching and bending •Improved mobility with more room throughout the back •More tailored fit and better overall comfort •Reinforcement in high stress areas for few blowouts

Limitations

Tyvek® should not be used around heat, flames, sparks or in potentially flammable or explosive environments. Garments made of Tyvek® fabrics should have slip-resistant or anti-slip materials on the outer surface of boots, shoe covers, or other garment surfaces in conditions were slipping could occur.
