Heavy Duty Roto Peen -EDCO CPU-10

Category: Decontamination > Mechanical Surface Removal > Scabbling , Mechanical
Reference # : Model No : CPU-10

The Heavy duty Roto Peen and the portable scarified EDCO CPU-10 and CPM-4 is a blasting alternative to remove concrete and metal substrates. The Roto Peen is engineered as a tungsten carbide shot attached to a hardened steel rivet, which is supported by heavy-duty flexible flaps. The flaps are assembled in a way that keeps the Roto Peen and the steel rivet attached in a slotted hub. The Roto Peen can be operated with several commercially available concrete/asphalt surfacing equipment. The machine used determines the width of each pass. The CPU-10 and CPM-4 are interchangeable depending on surface need. They are connected to a vacuum system for dust collection during operation. CPU-10: Dimensions of Tech Model (LxWxH): 45 in. x 24 in. x 38 in. Weight of Tech Model (lb.): 565 lbs. Vacuum System- VAC 150 (LxWxH): 48 ¬ in. x 28 in. x 50 ¬ in CPM-4: Dimensions of Tech Model (LxWxH): 38 in. x 18 in. x 38 in. Weight of Tech Model (lb.): 175 lbs. Dry Vacuum (LxWxH): 33 1/2 in. x 19 1/4 in. x 18 1/4 in. or Vacuum System-VAC 150.

Benefits

Self-propelled reduce operator fatigue. Flexible and portable and easy to use. Provides uniform rates of removal. Waste produced is minimal. The equipment provides a surface ready to re-coating. The shot remains captive to the tool and in complete control of the operator.

Limitations

Requires a separate vacuum cleaner system. Dust residue left on surface. CPU-10 leaves 5 1/2 in. of gap while CPM-4 3/4 in.
