DR-20 is the slightly larger version of DR-15, with a primary target application of EOD operators engaged in IED neutralization and similar missions. DR-20 retains DR-15’s main all-wheel drive features and on-board electronics. In addition, it also sports additional cameras in the rear. Its standard payload configuration employs a 3 DOF manipulator with long reach and a PTZ camera.The system uses tracks and front/rear paddle track extenders to allow it to climb stairs. Gearbox selection suits first-eyes-on-target applications in addition to slow and careful motions by the platform and the arm and its gripper and gripper-camera during IED operations. All video sources are individually selectable and in a quad-format on the same hand-controller. The unit is also completely back-packable or can be carried in multiple rucksacks in a quick-assembly set of modules.
