This tool is designed to prepare tubes for autogenous welding. It produces precise square burr-free ends on the tubing in preparation for autogenous tube welding. Dependable performance and ease of use, combined with agility, light weight and rapid cycle times are benefits of this tool. The cutting head accepts squaring bits or a combination of a squaring and a beveling bit. Has a variable speed electric drive and the ability to perform without damaging the inside of electro-polished tubes. Tri Tool has produced a new chip-guard debris catcher kit used with the model 301 tube squaring machine. When collecting chips is of concern, due to radiological or other contamination, this system should be given consideration. The Chip-Guard/ Debris Catcher is the solution for applications where the collection of cutting chips is of critical concern. The anodized aluminum Chip Guard provides clear acrylic windows that permit the operator to safely view the cutting process, while the chips fall into a stainless steel hopper. Accessories include the Quick Lock or QC for quick collect for higher productions. Also can be mounted with optional base plate (available either electric of pneumatic drive).
