This technology is a small remote-controlled climbing machine controlled by an operator. It is held to the surface by vacuum force and is not limited to magnetic surfaces. The machine can climb walls, ceilings or rounded surfaces. The inherent benefit is the patented seal that allows these lightweight climbers to climb over surface obstacles, uneven surfaces and surface contours. The machine weighs approx 30 pounds and has a pull off strength of over 225 pounds. The climber also has interchangeable attachments so the same climber can be used for an array of missions: inspection, decontamination, application of coatings, etc.
