The EBE 250 Vertical Shot Blaster is a remotely operated vertical shot blasting system which consists of two main units. One is a self-propelled blast head, which uses centrifugal force to blast the contaminated surface with steel shots and the other is the EBE 250 DA vacuum unit which collects the dust, debris and the spent media via vacuum tubes which are attached to the EBE 250 vertical shot blaster. The vacuum absorbs all air born contaminants and dust to provide a dust-free working environment. The vacuum hose can be extended and located up to 300 ft from the site to prevent contamination. Dust Collector: 27.5" wide X 69" Long X 64" High (990 lb.) Blast Head: 27.5" wide X 27.5" Long X 51" High (550 lb.)
The shot is inexpensive. Process is not labor intensive. Easy to operate.
Cannot remove concrete adjacent to floor or ceiling. Cannot work on wet surfaces. Forklift maneuverability makes it difficult to correctly reposition the unit. Leaves large gaps. Better suited for large surfaces.
