Trav-L-Cutter drives itself around the pipe as it simultaneously cuts and bevels, providing a machined surface ready for welding. It's designed for severing and beveling all common pipe materials, wall thicknesses and sizes from 6” O.D. (DN150) on up. The Trav-L-Cutter® special milling blades, with standard weld bevel capabilities of 30° & 37.5°, remove .188” (4.8mm) of metal during operation, leaving the pipe ends with a fine milled finish and no heat affected zones. They are available in 2 models: 1. Trav-L-Cutter Model E Air Kit - Trav-L-Cutter, or Travel Cutter, air powered Model E portable pipe cut and bevel milling machine with 6 to 48" (DN150-1200) capacity. Includes atmospheric anti-corrosion package with stainless steel components and special finishes. Model E Air Kit complete with twin HD air drive motors (with carriage drive reversible), air line lubricator, filter, drive chain 02-450-48 for 6 to 48" (DN150-1200) diameter pipe, operating hand tools, manual and steel storage case. 2. Trav-L-Cutter Model HE Hyd Kit - Trav-L- Cutter,hydraulic powered Model HE portable pipe cut and bevel milling machine with 6 to 48" (DN150-1200) capacity. Includes atmospheric anti-corrosion package with stainless steel components and special finishes. Suitable for water immersion. Model HE Hydraulic Kit complete with twin HD hydraulic drives, reversing valves, speed control, drive chain 02-450-48 for 6 to 48" (DN150-1200) diameter pipe, operating hand tools, manual and steel storage case.
