Grout

A construction material used to embed the reinforcing bars on the walls, connect sections of pre-cast concrete, fill voids, and seal joints. Grout is composed of water, sand, cement, color tint, and often fine gravel. Different types of grout include tiling grout, flooring grout, resin grout, non-shrink grout and thixotropic grout.  Different tools associated with grout include a grout float that is used for smoothing a grout applied surface, a grout saw which is used for the removal of old and discolored grout, and a grout sealer which is a water based sealent that is applied over dried grout to  resist water, oil and acid based contaminants.
