Q-Track has developed and commercialized Near-Field Electromagnetic Ranging (NFER®) technology, which provides optimal location awareness in challenging industrial environments. NFER® Technology operates at low frequencies and utilizes differences between electric waves and magnetic waves to determine location. Even in complicated indoor environments, NFER® systems can localize a tag to an average accuracy of 1 ft RMS at ranges up to 150 ft, depending on the environment.
